Tarkett wood, vinyl and linoleum flooring can all be installed over underfloor heating.  The guideline for linoleum and vinyl is that it cannot exceed 27ºc when the heat hits the back of the vinyl or adhesive layer.  With wood it cannot exceed 27ºc on the top of the wood flooring. Laminate flooring is suitable for installation on top of underfloor heating systems provided that the heating element is embedded into concrete or any other sub floor. Laminate flooring is not suitable for installation on top of any underfloor heating foil installed directly on concrete or any other sub floor unless otherwise specified by the underfloor heating manufacturer. Laminate flooring surface temperature should never exceed 28°C.
