Sustainability

At the 2016 Positive Economy Forum, Tarkett CEO Michel Giannuzzi outlined the company’s contributions toward a sustainable circular economy through a talk entitled “Let’s rid the Earth of our waste”.

At Tarkett, we have integrated sustainable development into the heart of our eco-innovation and sustainable growth strategy. For many years, we have been committed to operate the transition to the circular economy, by applying the Cradle to Cradle® principles in all our activities in close collaboration with our stakeholders (employees, clients, industries, society at large, etc.). The aim is to assess and select good materials, by optimizing the use of resources during the production phase, by contributing to people’s well-being and better indoor air quality during the usage phase, and by recycling and reusing our products at the end of their lifecycle.

The Positive Economy Forum is the international network of those who put the interest of generations to come at the heart of their thinking and acting. Company directors, NGOs, social entrepreneurs, thinkers, artists and active citizens gather several times a year to share their innovation and sustainable projects to raise awareness and spark debate.
